About Us

The business was established in 1963 by Brian Rhodes on a small site. In 1965 he moved to the present site. Paul joined his father in 1981 and together over the years they have expanded the business and employed more staff.

The business and building is on a continuous modernisation programme to ensure that we keep up to date with all the latest techniques in vehicle body repair.

We have used many pieces of software to try and run the business, but many seem to have some problems of one sort of another. For that reason we decided to write our own…

The Technology

Pauls’ brother David runs an IT consultancy and writes software, so by coupling the two businesses together mean that we can design and write a solution that works, is user friendly and intuitive.

Torch is the result of that. It’s the next level of bodyshop software. You can manage estimates, jobs and invoices using features that most other packages won’t provide – such as separate invoices for the client and insurance companies, easy estimating, job management, and more!

It has been designed from the base up using the latest technology and includes many features not found in other software.
